Plethora is the debut album from Swedish soul sensation Kissey Asplund. The album was entirely produced by Paris based hip-hop collective Papa Jazz Crew, and is a unique combination of future electronic soul beats and sweet jazz vocals.
Kissey began collaborating with various producers she met via ÔmyspaceÕ, bringing her silky sweet vocals to a variety of hip-hop and soul beats. However, it was when she hooked up with Papa Jazz that something clicked. They quickly recognized she had a style all her own and before long they were crafting what they called ÒKissey beatsÓ especially for her.
The resulting album is a genre defying journey through jazz, hip-hop, electronic soul, all with a fresh future twist. Kissey takes us through a range of day to day stories of love lost and found, friendships betrayed, relationships on the rocks and even astral travelling..

With the usual blend of hip-hop/jazz/soul/elecronica that encompasses Kissey?s sound, this EP continues to showcase the fresh talents of producers PapaJazz and their unique partnership with Kissey.
The EP features four tracks from the forthcoming album, plus an instrumental and bonus non-album track and displays the genre defying moods and grooves to be found on the album as Kissey takes us through a range of day to day stories of love lost and found, friendships betrayed and relationships on the rocks.
Kissey will be performing with Kidkanevil in Leeds Friday 8th Feb, and at Cargo in London Saturday 9th Feb showcasing a selection of her songs as well as her featured track with the Kid.

Rhythm Of Elements - Tribe#2 - North Wind
It is not often the underground dance and jazz worlds combine without one compromising the other. Rhythm Of Elements brings together the underground club heritage of DJ Uchikawa and classically trained jazz piano of Makoto Kuriya to truly dazzling effect.
'Tribe#2' rides a trademark Dj Uchikawa deep house groove, laced and sweetened by the fine musicianship of Makoto Kuriya on piano. The 12Ó also contains the Disco Dub Remix and Dub Beats.
Dj Uchikawa has been a pioneer in Japanese dance culture for decades, and is known for representing quality dance music from the classic boogie era to present day deep house scene. He owns The Loft Club in Nagoya, Japan.
Internationally renowned Makato Kuriya has played with some of the finest jazz musicians of the last century including Nathan Davis, Chuck Mangione, Billy Cobham, Donald Byrd to name a few. He has recorded numerous albums and performed worldwide.
The two met at a party in Tokyo in 1998 and hit it off immediately. They decided to unite jazz with electronic dance music, and soon after Rhythm Of Elements were performing at various clubs in Japan to a great response.
They have since released tracks on Black Vinyl Records (London), Loop Sounds (Tokyo) and most recently on Ront Trent?s Future Vision, with support from a variety of dance music luminaries such as Joe Claussell and Franck Roger.
They have re-launched their "Premier" party at Loop Club, Tokyo and are currently recording a full album due for release in 2008.
